Dry Fly Art Profile
Hi! I am Jessica and I have called Summit County, Colorado home since 2006 and I LOVE living in Frisco. I studied art at Colorado Mountain College at both the Breckenridge and Dillon campuses, taking a variety of classes including; drawing, composition, color theory, watercolor and acrylic painting. I settled almost immediately on watercolor as my preferred medium and eventually began to incorporate India ink into my pieces. I pioneered my one woman business, Dry Fly Art, in 2015 at the urging of my watercolor professor, Leanne Wirta. I strive to create an artistic community throughout the county by hosting 3rd Thursday Art Night! in Frisco at Highside Brewing each month.
After years of longing, I finally have a gallery called the Frisco Art Collective, which is a partnership with 4 of my closest artist friends. The gallery is located at 281 Main Street in Frisco - right next to Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters. If you find yourself in Frisco - come check it out!
When I'm not painting, I work full time at the Red, White and Blue Fire Department in Breckenridge. I spend most of my free time cycling, cross country skiing, and spending time with my family & blue heeler, Pepper.
